I hit a rock and scrambled to my knees. Technomancers were closing in on me and I didn’t have anywhere else to go. I couldn’t have imagined what would happen to me if they’d catch up. They could learn all the secrets of druids! I had to make sure it didn’t happen. I stood up and as I lifted my head, I bumped into a huge, metallic chest. Technomancers were usually small and stiff in their posture but this one was enhanced by some kind of robotic madness and he was massive! His metallic hands grabbed my wrists and twisted them painfully behind my back. I screamed in pain. The man hit me hard in the head and everything went black.

I regained consciousness in a cage. My head throbbed and my wrists were painfully tied to a wall with cables. I was sitting on the cold floor wearing only my undergarments. It was really dark, but as I lifted my head, I saw blinking electronic devices behind metallic bars of my cage. I couldn’t see much further, so I turned my head to check my environment on the other side of the bars. On both right and left sides, there were two other cages. They looked similar to mine except on the right one there was a table with instruments and some kind of devices. I thought something moved in the far corner of that cage. As I tried to focus my eyes on it, I understood it was another prisoner. Just like me, he was tied to the corner with cables, but he looked… a lot worse. Then I understood what those devices on the table were used for and shivered. The prisoner opened his eyes~ and looked straight at me.

‘Hey there, druid. Enjoying the view?’ he asked and I understood he was neither technomancer, nor druid. He was a human!

As a kid, I loved to read fantasy novels. I still do now. I tried to study in a university... twice. Both times I quit before even reaching the second semester. Then I decided it's not for me and started searching for other ways to fill in my life and this blog is one of the consequences as well as starting to write my fantasy novel!
